In the beginning.....

First , thank you for stopping by and perusing my website. I decided to add a blog to share some stories and even some processes. I thought long and hard about what I wanted my first post to be about. And as time went on, I realized I wanted to share a little of why I do what I do and some of my dreams and intentions.

My mission is to help people make memories; To add something special to their day. Its far more than a cake or a truffle to me. My intention is to help design and create a taste sensation that makes you feel like you have something special, personalized, original.

I don't get up and bake a bunch of pain au chocolat and then try to sell them. I work with you to develop a treat that is an extension of yourself or your event. And I love it. There is a story behind every picture on this website. And now, with the blog, the story might be found here.

I also wanted to share with you something personal about me and my dream. I have a special needs son who is the love of my life and the reason for my everything. He loves to bake and help out in the kitchen. And as he has gotten older, he has gotten job training placements in commercial kitchens and is practicing his own work to perhaps some day work in a professional kitchen.

So, to let you in on a dream of mine, to set the intention , and to release it into the world and onto the internet.....it is my dream to one day have a brick and mortar patisserie where he and I can work together side by side.

A note about pricing:  Everything I do is personalized to your tastes. So, pricing can vary greatly.  Most of my customers trust me enough to share with me their price range.  I can then design the pastry to fit the budget. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me about your project.  And more often than not, we can make it work! (When it comes to cakes, I will say that a Basic 8" cake with Italian Meringue Buttercream starts at $65.00. Decor and additional components  will affect pricing. )

A note about ordering: We are usually booked  2 weeks in advance.We will try to accommodate last minute orders but it is best to reach out with as much advanced notice as possible
